Hoyt compound bows are some of the best bows on the market today as Hoyt stays on the cutting edge of quality and technological innovation. I'm not quiet sure when Hoyt got started but they were making bows when I got into the sport over 30 years ago. A lot of guys love their bows and Hoyt has won more tournaments then any other bow company.
The Tec Lite riser is kind of funny looking but it is a solid and stable platform although it has always resulted in a compound bow that was on heavy side until recently. The risers are built to survive a minimum 1500 dry fires, which makes them probably the toughest riser on the market. The riser has minimal flex, twist and recoil which provides for a very stable compound bow platform.
Hoyt compound bows come with 5 layer laminated limbs built to survive 1000 dry fires at 80 pounds at a 30" draw. The limbs are 5/8" wide and spaced 3/4" apart and set in Hoyt's Triax Pockets Stabilization System for unmatched performance and durability. These limbs are the quality of a Barnsdale limb but because they are split and two limbs instead of one, they are impervious to cracking in the centers like a one piece limb.
Years ago Hoyt made wheels for most of their bows and they still do, but the cam and 1/2 revolutionized Hoyt compound bows. With this cam system developed and constantly improved upon since 2003, Hoyt bows have won more national and international archery tournaments than any other bow company in the world.
Hoyt compound bows are undoubtedly some of the best in world, if not the best. We try to keep a large selection in stock with new bows being added constantly so if you don't see something you like today, check back next week. I'm sure there will be new bows added.
