Martin Compound Bows

Gayle Martin started Martin compound bows about 58 years ago working from his kitchen table and garage. He started out making strings and fletching arrows and now Martin Archery is one of the largest compound bow and traditional archery manufacturers in the world.

Both his two sons Ryan and Terry have joined the business and Terry has over 25 patents credited to him. Ryan is involved in product testing and purchasing because of his insight into detail and what the common archer is looking for.

Martin compound bows have always stayed on the cutting edge of technology. Today they have patented Vibration Escape Modules to absorb noise and vibration. Teflon plated cable guards and most of their pro series bows have roller guards.

Martin has always made a good limb whether they are laminated or the new Core Flex design. You won't here very many stories of limbs cracking on Martin compound bows.

They now have three different cam systems but some of the old cams like the Fury are still some of the best. The new Cat hybrid duo cam system is like a binary, both are attached to each other and never go out of time.

The new Furious cam is a rebirth of the old Fury cam and is a dual cam system. With a simple module change this bow can be converted to a shoot through system called the X Cam system. This system has no cable guard and that eliminates torque.

I owned a few Martin compound bows and they were very fast, smooth and very accurate shooting bows. You'll never go wrong with a Martin compound bow.

We are constantly adding to our inventory so if you don't see something here today, check back next week.
